Produktbeschreibung
This book offers a comprehensive study of Ephrem's surviving writings relevant to his understanding of the Church. It traces the key themes of his ecclesiology, examines how his ideas interrelate, and explores their inner coherence. Central to this investigation are four guiding questions: Why is there a Church? Where was it born? How is it related to God's self-revelation? And how does it symbolise God's revelation to humanity?
