The Disposable Skateboard Bible

This book, now in its 10th edition, has truly become the "Bible" of pre-millennium skateboard decks. The author guides readers with extensive knowledge and experience through the culture, art, and madness of the skateboard world. While the skateboards take center stage, engaging stories and memories from renowned skateboard personalities such as Tony Hawk, Mike Vallely, Mark Gonzales, and Stacy Peralta provide additional context.
The skateboards in "The Disposable Skateboard Bible" are organized by decades: from the 1960s, when the first deck designs emerged; through the 1970s with the groundbreaking introduction of urethane wheels; the 1980s with its highs and lows, large decks, and the mass market; to the graphic chaos of the 1990s and the beginning of the new millennium.
